I have been a member of a gym for the past two years. I recently discovered that just being a member doesn’t get results. I decided to give it one last try this past March when I was introduced to my personal trainer. After a short conversation, his sincerity convinced me to sign up for twelve sessions.
I must say I was totally embarrassed by my performance when my trainer gave me my intitial Microfit. I started to wonder if it was possible to make any kind of improvement, but after three or four sessions I started to see and feel the changes. I play one-on-one basketball with my 16 year old son once or twice a week. In the past, I have had to take a breather after the first ten minutes or so, but now I am proud to say that after a half hour of continuous play, I’m still going strong.
My trainer suggested that I see Tony Sabanos regarding nutrition. What a fantastic job he has done putting a menu together for me. I soon realized that I was not on a diet, but tha I had simply changed my eating habits. As a matter of fact, I eat more than I did before!(Thanks Tony)
To date, I’ve lost 40 pounds, 7 inches on my waist, and lowered my body fat from 25% to 15%! I am exceptionally proud to say that I am also the winner of the local contest at my gym . My only regret is that I waited until age 49 to get into the best shape of my life.
