To: Anyone considering working with Tony Sabanos
Re: Do it!
To become a NCAA Division 1-A tennis player at a top-ranked school, I have had to supplement my tennis workouts over 10+ years by working with many different personal trainers. Each was adequate, but to keep up with the competition of the SEC, I have recently needed the best trainer available, and in Berks County, Tony Sabanos is decidedly that.
Tony is highly professional yet amicable in a supportive manner that ensures a positive experience. His style seems so natural that I almost didn’t notice how he consciously directs each workout in a way that is highly planned yet impressively adaptive.
In fact, it is my firm belief that Tony’s ability to assess and plan accordingly is his strongest asset, and a large part of what makes Tony clearly better than other trainers. He has a keen eye for body movement and a wealth of knowledge to allow him to specially tailor long-term training plans and individual workouts as he does. In the short time of six weeks, Tony was able to identify and correct the weaknesses and flaws in my movement and strength to an astonishing degree. I went to Tony with the lofty goals of significantly improving my strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and overall cardiovascular fitness, and he not only met but also exceeded all of my expectations.
While producing results, Tony’s workouts are also engaging and enjoyable. Each is emergent but focused, challenging, purposefully directed, and never boring or stale. I left every session exhausted and physically spent, but also gratified and highly motivated, regardless of how I had felt before I arrived to work out.
Fortunately, I was able to utilize this out-of-gym motivation in implementing Tony’s nutritional suggestions, which are nothing but solid. Tony offers a wide range of knowledge with regard to nutrition. His suggestions account for many concerns, including protein/carbohydrate ratios, vitamins, meal timing, energy levels, performance, and taste.
Tony’s nutritional knowledge, along with his eye for movement, understanding of kinesthetic intelligence, personable manner, and shown results make him the absolutely best trainer I have ever worked with or encountered. I enthusiastically recommend Tony Sabanos to anyone looking for a high performance trainer.
