  • FAQS

March 2, 2011 by Tony Sabanos

For most of American’s food is something that is consumed out of comfort and not necessity. This has lead to an increasing population of obese individuals. Having been in the fitness industry for 12 years, I would say 75% of our business comes from individuals who are looking to lose weight. Everyone is looking for the quick and easy fix to lose the most weight in a short amount of time. The problem is that for all the gimmicks and products that are out there, there is only one effective method, hard work. There are a few tips that will help you to get on your way to a smaller waistline. First step would be to eat several small meals consuming each one every 3 hours. This will enable the body to have a constant flow of nutrients. By fueling your body consistently throughout the day it will allow you body to stay in an anabolic state. That means that you will be able to build lean muscle tissue and lose bodyfat.  My second suggestion is to make sure you consume a protein and a carbohydrate every time you eat. This will allow your body to have fuel from the carbohydrates and the building blocks to gain lean muscle tissue from the protein. If you consume one without the other your body will use either protein or carbohydrate as a fuel source, which will leave you deficient for building lean muscle tissue.
