Thanks to Tony Sabanos, a personal trainer and specialist in performance nutrition, I am on the road to a much healthier lifestyle. In the past couple of years, I made attempts to exercise, and what I thought was eating better, hoping to lose a few pounds. I would continue to get frustrated, as I would not see any results. My husband would occasionally ask me when I was going to go back to the gym, knowing that exercising would make me feel better. I would reply, “one of these days”. Then my clothes started to get tighter. Plus turning 50 did not help in thinking if I would ever be able to get on the right track.
After my husband encouraged me to come to the gym with him I did and I sat down with Tony and discussed proper nutrition. I never imagined that in a couple of months I would lose 12lbs, reduce inches as well as reducing my bodyfat from 24%20to 13.2%. The primary change was my eating habits. I would have never believed that I would have lost weight eating so much food. I then had some personal training sessions with Tony who set up a program for me which includes monitoring my heart rate while exercising and doing cardio. I now get to the gym at least five days per week, and feeling guilty if I don’t. I look forward to Tony’s continued support and guidance.
