Tony Sabanos is a Certified Personal Trainer and Specialist in Performance Nutrition from the International Sports Sciences Association. Tony has been in the fitness industry since 2000. He was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Championship Reading Express Football team, the Reading Rage Soccer Program, the Reading Railers basketball team, Wilson Boys and Girls Soccer, Wilson Girls Tennis, Oley Field Hockey, Spring Ford Lacrosse Team, and Tulpehocken Boys Baseball.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of Reading High School. He has trained thousands of athletes that have played everything from basketball, football, soccer, tennis, baseball, swimming, ice hockey, boxing, mixed martial arts, kickboxing, cheerleading, lacrosse, karate, and golf. His motto is “Results speak for themselves.”
Shawn Stanislaw – Trainer, NSCA, CPT
Shawn Stanislaw is a Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA – CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as well as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. Prior to returning home to Pennsylvania, Shawn was the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Mount Union College Football and Softball Teams. He majored in Exercise Science at Mount Union College and was a member of two Division III National Champion football teams. Shawn has since received a second B. S. degree in Health Science from Lebanon Valley College.
Shawn is an accomplished powerlifter, winning three gold medals at the 2007 North American Championships in Guatemala. He is a Wilson High School graduate where he was an athlete in football, wrestling, and track and field.
Carol Freed is a Licensed Registered Dietitian with more than 16 years of experience in nutritional counseling. She previously served as the Chief Clinical Dietitian at St. Luke’s Hospital and Pottsville Hospital and was Clinical Dietitian at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital and Easton Hospital. She has been in private practice for 10 years counseling clients in all areas of nutrition – ranging from weight loss and healthy eating, to disease specific diets. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics from Marywood University, Scranton, PA.
Cheryl McCue – Trainer, CPT
Cheryl McCue is a Certified Personal Trainer with an advanced personal trainer certification from the American Fitness Professionals Association. She was the Fitness and Sports Director for the Manatee County YMCA and a personal trainer for the Sarasota Family YMCA – both in Florida. Previously, Cheryl served as Wellness Director for HealthSouth Reading Rehab Hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from West Chester University and is a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.
Cory Albright is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. As a three sport athlete at Daniel Boone High School, Cory went on to play a year of college basketball at Wesley College before transferring to Shippensburg University. Once at Shippensburg, Cory chose to stop his athletic career to dedicate his studies and career to improving the career of others. Cory spent a year as a volunteer coach for the Shippensburg High School boys’ basketball team. During his time at Shippensburg, he conducted and presented two research projects. His research on “The Effects of Creatine Monohydrate Compared to Creatine Hydrochloride on Muscular Strength and Strength Performance” was presented at the 2012 MARC-ACSM Regional Conference in Harrisburg, as well as
being considered for publication. His last semester was spent interning at Velocity Sports Performance, where he worked with athletes ranging from youth to professional. In May, he earned a B.S. degree in Exercise Science with a Coaching minor.
Cory does not just care about the athletic population, but is passionate about bettering the lifestyle of any individual one session at a time.
